  • September 2022: Wärtsilä, the global technology group delivered a BioLNG plant in Tervete, Latvia. The order was given by AS AgrofirmaTervete, who will implement the plant to elevate, polish, and dissolve biogas from agricultural waste into bioLNG. Wärtsilä provided its PuregasCA50LBG for the withdrawal of CO2 and H2S (hydrogen sulphide) accompanied by an MR10 (mixed refrigerant) technology for the liquefaction stage. The induction is planned for production of 10 tons bioLNG per day. The shipment also encircles the supply of spare parts and service agreement.
  • January 2022: BioConstruct explained that it had signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Next Kraftwerke, a Cologne-depended electricity trading firm. In line with the transaction, Next Kraftwerke have marketed 40,000 MWh of biogas power in the early months of 2022. BioConstruct produces power from its biogas plants and the capabilities of its customers. The fixed-price PPA comprises 86 biogas CHPs in total.
