A new hybrid deep groove ball bearing designed for high-speed applications has been developed by SKF. The novel bearing is intended for use in electric machinery and drives, as well as traction motors used in the rail industry. Three OEMs are among SKF's current pilot customers. In comparison to conventional designs, a revolutionary lightweight cage helps to increase the limiting speed by at least 60%.
With the addition of a brand-new CNC groover to its catalog of kits, BFS Pressroom Solutions is now able to automate the production of its rollers. After receiving the HNC GV300 CNC grinder-groover in October 2022, BFS utilized it for grooving pattern testing until March 2023, when it was put into regular production.
