The Kraft Heinz Company announced that it has reached a deal to buy Companhia Hemmer Indstria e Comércio ("Hemmer"), a Brazilian business that specializes in condiments and sauces. In addition to advancing Kraft Heinz's aim of expanding the International Taste Elevation product platform and its presence in emerging regions, the acquisition of Hemmer is intended to increase Brazilian consumers' flavour alternatives.
The fruit preparations division of the regional food manufacturer Taiyo Kagaku Co. Ltd. was being acquired by the fruit, starch, and sugar firm AGRANA as it expanded its foothold in Asia. On April 1, AGRANA Fruit Japan Ltd. was estimated to begin producing fruit preparations. Its growth in Asia has taken a significant step forward with the purchase of this Japanese fruit preparations facility from TAIYO. Fruit preparations are becoming more and more popular in Japan, which is characterized by high standards and creativity.
