A210 ExtruStrongTM, a new high-strength, 6000 series alloy introduced by the Company, provides benefits throughout a wide range of extruded applications, including transportation, construction, industrial, and consumer items. Moreover, the C611 EZCastTM alloy, is a high-performance alloy that does not necessitate a special heat treatment.
  • VDM Metals GmbH has introduced two new alloy materials and presented them at Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting. The first material is VDM FM 31 Plus, a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy, that has monitored levels of nitrogen. VDM, on the other hand, introduces the VDM® FM 825 CTP material, which was developed on the foundation of VDM® Alloy 825, but with more molybdenum and without the inclusion of titanium. The higher molybdenum concentration offers improved corrosion resistance, while the shortage of titanium ensures improved weldability with a lower danger of hot cracking.
