Cabot Corporation has successfully acquired Tokai Carbon (Tianjin) Co., Ltd from TOW Carbon Group. The acquisition expands the company's manufacturing capacity while continuing to serve existing carbon black customers. The annual production rate of carbon black at the Site was evaluated to be around 50,000 metric tons. Cabot also planning to invest in the site to Increase production capabilities.
WesTech Engineering, LLC. has announced that the WWETCO FlexFilter has been conditionally accepted as an alternative filtration technology by the State of California under Its Water Recycling Criteria (Title 22), Section 60320.5.
